Job Description
Mataam Al Mandi Liverpool Pty Ltd is seeking to employ 2 x Cooks to complement our kitchen team in Liverpool NSW.
These full-time positions carry a salary of $80,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation.
This job requires you to hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent work experience, and the ability to work independently in a busy kitchen environment.
Some experience is highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities

Oversee food preparation, dish presentations, and create various food formats.

Cook mains, entrée, and side items, and prepare signature dishes and diet specific food for patrons.

Select and plan recipes and create current combinations based on customer patterns.
?
Estimate food consumption and requisitions for lunches, dinners and functions.
?
Receive and examine supplies and stock, and inventory control for quality control purposes.
?
Supervise and train new kitchen staff in cooking, plating and presentation.
?
Oversee sanitation, food and hygiene regulations compliance by the kitchen staff.
?
Recommend changes to the menu and daily specials to the management.
