The Role
We are seeking experienced support workers to join our team, supporting participants across two separate homes in Logan. These roles involve supporting participants with complex needs and require demonstrated experience in:
High-intensity supports
Manual handling
Complex behaviours
Mental health
Challenging behaviours
High-risk and complex support environments
Successful applicants will be confident, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support while working within Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs), complex care plans, and multidisciplinary teams. Previous experience supporting participants with high-intensity support needs, implementing PBSPs, and undertaking safe manual handling is essential.
Shifts operate on a 24/7 rotating roster, including active night shifts.
All positions are offered under an ABN contractor model, providing flexibility while ensuring consistent, reliable support across both homes.
Essential Requirements
Current Open Driver's Licence
First Aid Certificate and current CPR
Positive NDIS Worker Screening
Proven experience supporting individuals with complex care needs
Physically fit and able to perform active shifts
Solid documentation and data-entry skills
Positive, team-focused attitude
MAYBO (or equivalent) behaviour-support training
Completion of the NDX Worker Orientation Module
Willingness to complete Disability Connect's induction training
