We are seeking an experienced and motivated Casual Chef to join ouraward-winning team, with the opportunity to transition to apart-time position within six months.
Aminimum commitment of 3–4 shifts per weekis required; however,full-time hours are available immediately for the right candidate.

The Role

About You
You are apassionate and creative chefwith proven experience in a busy, high-standard kitchen.
You take pride in delivering consistent quality, thrive under pressure, and bring positive energy to the team.
You should be able to:
Work efficiently bothindependently and collaborativelywithin a team.
Maintain a high level ofattention to detail,presentation, andfood safety.
Demonstratestrong time managementand adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Service
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure dishes are ofconsistent high quality, aligned with brand expectations.
Execute service fora la carte dining, functions, and events.
Maintainmise en placeand readiness for service at all times.




Specific Responsibilities
Oversee a specific kitchen section(grill, larder, or sauté) ensuring timely, quality production.
Contribute to menu developmentand seasonal changes by suggesting creative dishes.
Assist with stock control— including ordering, rotation, and waste minimisation.
Ensure allfood safety, hygiene, and HACCP standardsare met and maintained.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Kitchen Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and equipment care in accordance with safety standards.
Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery(or equivalent qualification).
Previousline cook experiencein a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen.
Strong understanding ofmodern Australian cuisineand plating techniques.
Creativity and initiativeto contribute to menu development.
Strongcommunication and leadershipskills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
