SYNC Recruitment are currently partnering with a local early childhood provider to recruit an experienced
Centre Manager
for a medium sized, family owned Service in Melbournes inner Northern Suburbs.
This is a excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven leader to step into a growing, well-resourced Centre which offers stability and growth.
About the Role
As Centre Director, you will:
Lead the overall operations of the Centre, ensuring a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment
Support and mentor a team of educators and room leaders across all age groups
Oversee compliance, staffing, enrolments, and budgeting with the support of an Area Manager
Mitigate risks and regularly review strategies for operational improvement
Create community partnerships and local presence
Deliver excellent service and build strong relationships with families
You Will Bring
Ideally
3+ years
in a Centre Management role
Experience opening or leading a new centre from start-up (preferable, not essential)




Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
A strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and regulatory compliance
A desire to learn about an International Curriculum being implemented in Australia
Proven experience in recruitment and building a team from scratch – as well as a strong focus on staff morale and retention
A collaborative leadership style that enhances partnerships, supports growth and utilises everyone's strengths
Experience & confidence in developing strong connections in the local community
