About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Psychologist to join the team at Better Together Community Support in Atherton, North Queensland. As a Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive mental health services to the local community. What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and providing evidence-based psychological interventions to clients across the lifespan
Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address a wide range of mental health and wellbeing concerns
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to client care
Maintaining detailed and accurate client records in accordance with professional and organisational standards
Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery and clinical best practices
Participating in regular supervision, professional development, and team meetings
What we're looking for
Fully registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Experience providing psychological services in a community-based or clinical setting
Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and family therapy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues




Commitment to ongoing career development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation
Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills
