As a
Clinical Nurse
, you'll play a key leadership role in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centered care to residents. Working closely with the Residential Service Manager and wider care team, you'll provide expert clinical guidance, support complex care needs and help create positive outcomes that enhance residents' quality of life.
In this role, you will:
Lead and support the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centered care for residents.
Provide expert clinical guidance and support for complex care needs and clinical decision-making.
Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and oversee effective care planning and reviews.
Mentor, coach and support nursing and care teams to deliver best-practice outcomes.
Champion infection prevention and control initiatives across the home.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, allied health professionals and other key stakeholders.
Support quality improvement, clinical governance and compliance with aged care standards and funding requirements.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to positive resident outcomes and quality of life.
What makes a difference for us?
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent).
Minimum three years' experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally within aged care.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Experience supporting residents with complex care needs, including dementia and palliative care.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of aged care quality standards, funding requirements and clinical governance practices.
Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
IPC Lead training, or willingness to complete the training.
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
