Casual and Part-Time Support Worker - Redlands

You will be:
Supporting our wonderful clients to live as independently as possibly by assisting with activities of daily living which may include personal care needs and assistance with medication, community support and empowerment
.
Assisting our clients to achieve their planned NDIS goal‐oriented tasks.
Flexible and willing to work shifts that are rostered over 24/7 including day, evening, weekend work and overnight shifts. This may also include overnight and active sleep overs.
To be successful in this role you need to have the following:
Demonstrated experience working with complex behaviours.
Understanding of autism,



intellectual disabilities and speech related disorders.
Physically fit and willing to engage in social and outdoor activities.
Be passionate, adaptable and caring.
Excellent communication skills including maintaining privacy and confidentiality of the client.
Certificate III Individual Support (highly regarded).
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to being offered employment.
A completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module or be willing to obtain.
Have a current
Blue Card and Yellow Card/NDIS Disability Worker Screening
clearance or be willing to obtain this prior to being offered employment.
