Leading Hand Carpenter – High-End Residential Construction

Atom Resources are on the look outfor an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join one of Sydney's leading luxury residential builders.
Our client is a highly regardedbuilder specialising in architecturally designed custom homes valued at $5 million and above. With an exceptional reputation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and delivering complex bespoke residences, they are recognised as one of the leaders in Sydney's premium residential construction market.
The Opportunity
This role offers a excellent balance between hands‐on carpentry and site leadership. You'll spend approximately 50% of your time on the tools, while also supporting the Site Manager with the day‐to‐day coordination of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands‐on carpentry work across all stages of construction.
Support the Site Manager with daily site supervision and coordination.
Complete set‐out works accurately from architectural plans.
Coordinate day‐to‐day activities to ensure construction progresses in line with the program.
Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout the build.
Assist in managing subcontractors and resolving on‐site issues.
Ensure site safety and company procedures are consistently followed.




Lead by example and contribute to a positive, productive site culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
A trade qualification in Carpentry (preferred).
Experience working on residential construction projects, ideally custom or high‐end homes.
A strong understanding of construction sequencing and building methodologies.
The ability to read plans and carry out accurate set‐out works.
A practical, hands‐on approach with the ability to solve problems independently.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work closely with trades and site management.
High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Experience with structural framing and concrete construction will be highly regarded but is not essential.
