Flangecast Pipe Supplies is currently recruiting a trade assistant to support our machinists' at our workshop in Wetherill Park. We are a small family company that prides itself on providing a safe and fulfilling work workplace for our team.
At Flangecast we fabricate flanged ductile iron pipes for the Water and Wastewater Industry. The pipes range in size from 80mm to 500mm in diameter and up to 5.5m in length. The typical daily tasks of the trade assistant will involve
Cutting ductile iron pipes to length
Attaching flanges to already threaded pipes
Painting flanges already fitted to pipes
Moving material as and when required with moderate lifting capacity
General cleaning of the workshop area
Our workshop is fitted with an overhead gantry crane to assist with moving material around.
Training will be provided in the use of machinery and plant where required
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Ideally the candidate we are looking for would live within a 25km radius of Wetherill Park but we will consider applicants outside of this.
