Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour + Super

About the Role
Our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Smithfield, is currently seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join their production team.
This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with proven upholstery experience in a manufacturing or commercial furniture setting. You will be responsible for upholstering office chairs and commercial furniture to a high standard using a variety of upholstery tools and techniques.
Duties Include
Upholstering office chairs and commercial furniture
Using hand staplers, upholstery tools and power tools
Cutting and preparing fabrics, foam and other materials using templates and patterns
Measuring, fitting and securing upholstery materials
Completing quality inspections on finished products
Maintaining a clean and secure work area
Working as part of a team to meet production targets
To Be Successful, You Will Have
Previous upholstery experience is essential
Experience upholstering commercial furniture, office chairs or similar products
Experience using hand staplers, upholstery tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
What's On Offer
