What you'll be doing
This is anexciting opportunityfor an experiencedClinical Nurse Educatorwho is passionateabout developing people, improving patient outcomesand creatinga culture ofcontinuous learning.
You'llpartner with NurseManagers, Clinical NurseConsultants and multidisciplinaryteams to deliverhigh-quality clinicaleducation that strengthenscapability across theperioperative environment.
You will:
Design, deliver andevaluate engaging clinicaleducation,



orientation,mandatory training andprofessional developmentprograms
Mentor, coach andassess nursing staffto build clinicalcapability, confidenceand competency
Facilitate bedside teachingand support evidence-based clinical practicethat enhances patientoutcomes
Collaborate with nursingleadership to identifyworkforce development needsand implement innovativeeducation strategies
Leadquality improvement initiatives, competency assessmentsand education projectsthat strengthen clinicalexcellence

Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and/or post registration qualification in the relevant speciality and nursing professional development/ education.
Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate clinical education at the ward level,



and provide support and guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified nursing and midwifery workforce, working within appropriate models of care.
Demonstrated effective and high level communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolutions skills in addition to proven ability to motivate and engage people in the clinical setting.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement whilst ensuring currency of practice in the relevant specialty.
Demonstrated ability and commitment to collaborative and integrated multidisciplinary teamwork, aimed at building and strengthening partnerships with consumers and key stakeholders to provide best practice service delivery.
Strong commitment to the on-going development/enhancement of nursing practice within a patient centred, multi-disciplinary clinical environment.
Relevant computer skills including database programmes and data entry.
