The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Rehabilitation Case Manager to join the Health, Safety, Rehabilitation and Accessibility (HSRA) Section within the People, Performance and Strategy (PPS) Branch.
The PPS Branch provides human resources, governance and strategic advice services to the Department.
Based in West Block, Parkes Canberra, this position provides rehabilitation and return to work support to employees across DPS, including those working within Australian Parliament House and across the parliamentary precinct.

As a Senior Rehabilitation Case Manager, you will manage a diverse caseload of workplace injury, illness and rehabilitation matters.
Working closely with employees, managers, treating practitioners, rehabilitation providers and Comcare, you will facilitate safe and durable return to work outcomes while balancing operational and individual needs.
The role involves delivering high-quality, timely and tailored rehabilitation case management services, providing expert advice and guidance, and developing practical solutions that support recovery and workplace participation.
A key aspect of the position is fostering positive working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will have the opportunity to:
Deliver end-to-end rehabilitation and return to work case management services.
Support employees through injury, illness and recovery while facilitating timely and sustainable return to work outcomes.
Build successful working relationship with employees, managers, medical practitioners, rehabilitation providers and Comcare.
Influence positive outcomes through evidence-based advice, early intervention and proactive case management.
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team committed to service excellence and continuous improvement.
The Successful Candidate Will Be:
Customer-focused, with the ability to manage relationships across a range of stakeholders and sensitive people matters.
Able to gather, analyse and interpret information to provide sound advice and practical solutions within legislative and policy frameworks.
A strong communicator with the ability to coordinate complex case management activities and achieve positive outcomes.
Capable of working in a fast-paced operational environment while managing competing priorities and tight timeframes.
A proactive problem solver with excellent organisational skills, resilience and sound judgement.
Committed to delivering high-quality customer service and achieving meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.
Maintain accurate case records and contribute to the ongoing administration, enhancement and continuous improvement of the Department's Rehabilitation Management System, ensuring reporting, data integrity and compliance requirements are met.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.
