We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Officer to join our team based in Bunbury.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your financial expertise to an organisation providing practical guidance and support for on-the-ground outcomes that benefit our environment, local agriculture and broader communities.
This role is part time (11.5 hours/week) and would suit a busy professional seeking work life balance, our small team thrives on autonomy, accountability, flexibility and the ability to work cooperatively and strategically to deliver the best on ground outcomes for our landmangers and project partners.

About Leschenault Biosecurity Group Inc.
Leschenault Biosecurity Group Inc. (LBG) is a not-for-profit, community-led Recognised Biosecurity Group dedicated to protecting the diverse land uses and natural biodiversity of our region from the significant impacts of plant and animal pests.




Our focus is on promoting and supporting the management of priority declared pests across our operational area, as well as providing guidance on managing other animal and plant pests where possible, responding to the needs and requests across our communities.
Our operations are primarily funded through the WA Declared Pest Rate and supplemented with specialised grant or other independent project-specific funding.
LBG is led by a skills-based Board of Management comprised of dedicated volunteer community members who bring a diverse range of professional expertise, local knowledge, and experience.
The Board provides strategic guidance and oversight, ensures strong governance, sound financial management, and organisational accountability, and handles business development, administrative, and decision-making responsibilities.
The Team Dynamic
As our Finance Officer, you will be a valued member of a small, professional, collaborative, and self-managed team.
The team currently consists of three part-time staff who work closely with one another alongside a network of subcontracted pest and weed management technicians, landholders, government agencies, peer organisations, and other project partners to deliver meaningful support for our local communities and setting.
