Remuneration & Benefits: Base Salary: $79,500 – $85,000 per annum (plus superannuation, commensurate with experience) Visa Pathway: Sponsorship available after 3 months of demonstrated performance

Position & Roster Details: Employment Type: Full-Time
Roster: Monday to Saturday (Split shifts Tuesday–Friday: Morning/Evening; Saturday: Evening only) Location: Canberra CBD, ACT




Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations: Cook, prepare, and monitor the quality of authentic Italian dishes at all stages of presentation.
Management Support: Assist in menu planning, estimating food/labour costs, and ordering kitchen supplies.
Leadership: Demonstrate advanced cooking techniques, advise on procedures, and train/supervise junior kitchen staff.
Compliance & Candidate Requirements
Compliance: Maintain strict food hygiene, safety standards, and handle high-pressure service with a skilled attitude.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant, post-qualification work experience as a Chef.
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications: Relevant commercial cookery qualifications matching the level of the position.
Skills: Exceptional punctuality, reliability, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
Language: Full professional fluency in English.
