An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced veterinarian on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Short term accommodation can be provided if required.
There is a fully furnished, two-bedroom apartment available at the practice.
This privately owned practice has been established for over a decade.
They are a part of the local community and value the clients and their pets as if they were friends and family.
They also have robust relationships within the practice, along with a low staff turnover.
The caseload is mostly made up of dogs and cats, though the team also sees a good variety of wildlife, which is treated in-house.
Consultations are scheduled for 30 minutes, allowing time to work up cases thoroughly and provide quality care.
There are 11 support staff who are highly-skilled, emotionally intelligent and empowered to excel in their roles.
This allows the veterinarians to be strategic in their treatment and case management and focus on their reason for being.
The senior nurses on the team have been with the practice for 8 to 10 years.
The vets are also supported by regular visits from an advanced veterinary surgeon for complex orthopaedic cases and a mobile sonographer.
The clinic houses all the expected medical and surgical facilities, digital x-ray, iM3 dental suite and full in-house laboratory and pathology.
This position has the flexibility to be full or part-time.
The current weekly arrangements are 3.5 consecutive days on and 3.5 consecutive days off, but this is flexible to suit the right candidate.
The shifts to be worked are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and one or two Saturdays a month.
The weekday shifts are 8 am or 8:30 am to 5 or 5:30 pm.
The Saturday shift is 8am am to 12pm.

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
The practice is located in a beautiful area of the Sunshine Coast.
The location is known for its cafes, a country pub, a distillery, art galleries, markets, a museum and proximity to world-renowned beaches.
