As our scope of works increases and strengthens, we are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation / Hazardous Area Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team at RAAF Townsville in NQLD.

The Role – E&I; Technician – Hazardous Areas Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at RAAF Townsville supporting surrounding locations in the NQLD region, with occasional regional travel.
You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians.
These duties will include, but not limited to; Perform scheduled electrical & Instrumentation, maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipmentDiagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipmentElectrical Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipmentSupport subcontracted work packages as requiredSupport various sites in the region, with the occasional requirement to travel throughout QLD.
As a E&I; Technician, You Will Be a strong team player,



a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customerE & I Certification and A-grade electrical licence with relevant post trade experienceExperience in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas / (EEHA) trained essentialProven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & GasConfined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regardedSafety is at the forefront of everything you do!
