We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to join our team.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, safety and efficiency in all aspects of warehouse operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the receiving, checking, storage, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing goods
Participate in inventory control activities, including stock counts and stocktakes
Safely move freight, stock, and materials between storage, production, loading, and delivery areas using manual handling techniques, forklifts, and other suitable equipment
Pack products into crates and prepare orders for shipment
Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform general housekeeping duties
Carry out basic warehouse maintenance tasks as required
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and safety procedures




Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required from time to time
Core skills and competencies required:
Strong willingness to learn
Some basic carpentry skills would be an advantage
Sound administrative and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Good attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive communication skills and a positive attitude
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
Problem-solving skills
Previous warehouse or store person experience preferred
Experience in inventory control and stocktake procedures will be highly regarded
Current and valid Class C driver's license (ability to drive the company manual vehicle)
Hold a current High risk work licence - Forklift truck (LF)
Possession of, or the ability to qualify for, an Australian defence security clearance (baseline minimum)
