Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trade Assistant to join our dedicated team.
The successful applicant will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional glass solutions and services to our valued clients.
The successful applicant will learn all aspects of Auto Glazing and glass cutting.If you demonstrate a positive attitude and dedication to the team and role an opportunity to transition into our AGAP (Auto Glazing Apprentice Program) will be offered.
You must have the ability to work unsupervised and be a positive self-starter.
Those who demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn and take direction and have a long-term employment attitude will also be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
replacing windscreens and body glass in all types of light vehicles, medium and heavy trucks and machinery;
servicing our clients,



with planned work and breakdown assistance when required;
cutting glass in workshop or on-site to fit plant and machinery;
fitment of custom-made ASMG specialty glass to the largest working machines in the industry;
Packing and distribution of glass to other branches;
Requirements
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work on-site at various locations as needed.
Ability to pass periodic and random drug tests

This role isFull-Time Permanent(Mon-Fri).

You will also be subject to periodic Alcohol and Drug tests, as well as a Police Check.
