About the role:
Support planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical construction activities
Translate project specs, permits, and drawings into work packs and execution plans
Monitor site progress, identify and resolve technical issues
Liaise with engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
Conduct regular site inspections and report on milestones and variations
Assist with technical documentation, risk assessments, and change management
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to project meetings
Implement and manage quality assurance processes

About You
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years' experience in mechanical project engineering within mining, industrial, SMP or construction environments




Experience delivering mechanical installation, maintenance or shutdown projects
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and construction documentation
Strong site-based experience and understanding of safety, quality and construction compliance requirements
Excellent communication, planning and coordination skills
Confident working independently in remote locations on rostered projects
Familiarity with MS Project and Excel
Familiarity with ITP’s, FIC’s, ITR’s and other quality assurance documentation
Must be able to pass regular drug & alcohol testing and site medical requirements
Must be a team player and communicate effectively with tradesmen with different backgrounds and skillsets
