We have exciting opportunities to commence or recommence a Cabinet Making Apprenticeship with Action Trades & Apprenticeships in Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and Gold Coast QLD. As a Cabinet Making Apprentice, you will learn the essential skills and techniques required to design, construct and install a variety of custom cabinets, furniture and joinery. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced tradespeople, as well as the opportunity to attend vocational education classes to gain a formal qualification.
What you'll be doing
Interpreting design specifications and technical drawings to produce custom cabinet and joinery items
Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, assemble and finish wood and other materials
Installing cabinets, shelving and other joinery in residential and commercial settings
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
Attending off-the-job training to develop theoretical and practical skills
Assisting experienced tradespeople and learning from their expertise
What we're looking for
Solid interest and aptitude for working with your hands and creating tangible products
Good practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions




Commitment to completing a 4-year Cabinet Making Apprenticeship program
Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job and in the classroom
Good communication and problem-solving skills
A positive, proactive and safety-conscious attitude
