About Us
We are a family-owned and operated Montessori Long Daycare Centre located in Burpengary, Queensland. Our purpose-built facility, established in August ****, is dedicated to nurturing children's development through the Montessori philosophy. We cater to children aged 6 months to school age across our Nido, Infant, and Children's House communities.
Our Centre fosters a supportive, collaborative work environment and operates from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and a two-week closure over Christmas/New Year.
Position Overview
We are seeking Assistant Educators to join our Infant Community (15 months to 3-years-olds) in a part‐time position requiring
availability Monday to Friday
between 11:00 am and 5:30 pm.
About You
We want educators who see early childhood education as a calling, not just a job. Educators who genuinely want to work with children, nurture their development, and build meaningful connections with families and colleagues.
Requirements
Minimum 12 months' experience in the early childhood education sector
Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or commenced Cert III and considered actively working towards)
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check – QLD)




Ability to work 5 days a week within our operating hours
Genuine passion for children's learning and wellbeing
Montessori knowledge or experience (preferred but not essential as you will be provided on‐job Montessori pedagogy training)
Responsibilities
Supporting children's independence, concentration, and love of learning through a carefully prepared setting
Building respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, and the team
Actively engaging with and supervising children during both indoor and outdoor programs
Supporting programs and experiences in line with the Montessori philosophy and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space
