Learning & Development Specialist | NSW Government

The Company

Our client is a well-respected and reputable government organisation and are well known across NSW. They believe in recruiting the best of the best and provide their staff with a friendly work setting with supportive management.

They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to enhance the capability of current and future learning solutions across the department. This newly created role supports a key Government project and is based in Parramatta, with work-from-home flexibility. The position will initially be on a 6‑month contract.

The Job
Partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability needs and deliver effective learning solutions.
Design, develop and facilitate engaging learning programs across multiple delivery channels.
Conduct learning needs analysis and manage end-to-end program delivery.




Evaluate and continuously improve learning initiatives using feedback and best practice.
Drive digital learning innovation and build a robust learning culture aligned to business priorities.

You
10+ years' experience in a strategic Learning & Development or Learning Business Partner role.
Experience within infrastructure, utilities or other complex asset-based organisations, ideally with exposure to government or the public sector.
Tertiary qualification in Instructional Design, Learning Design, Education or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
Proven track record of designing and delivering contemporary learning and capability programs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
