Wollongong Eye Specialists are seeking two Trainee Clinical Assistants to join our dynamic and growing clinical team.
These are casual and full time positions that will provide you with hands-on training and development opportunities within our ophthalmology practice.
What you'll be doing
Assisting ophthalmologists and other medical staff with simple ophthalmic procedures
Preparing examination rooms and maintaining equipment
Providing exceptional support to our team, ophthalmologists and their patients
Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Undertaking ongoing hand-on training to develop your skills
Communicating and dealing with patients directly
What we're looking for
Keen interest in the healthcare industry and specialist medical practice
Strong desire to learn and develop
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace
Be able to work in a state of the art,
specialist medical practice environment
Previous experience in healthcare/ophthalmology is a plus but not essential
