About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Blaster & Painter for a 3-week project working on an oil & gas storage tank. This role will involve surface preparation and protective coating application to a high standard, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and safety requirements.
We are seeking candidates to travel from Australia to the Solomon Islands.

Key Responsibilities
Abrasive blasting (surface preparation) to required standards
Application of industrial coatings and protective paints
Monitoring coating thickness and quality (DFT checks)
Operating and maintaining blasting and painting equipment
Adhering to strict safety procedures and site requirements
Completing work within project timelines
Requirements
Proven experience in industrial blasting and painting (oil & gas, mining, or heavy industry preferred)
Ability to work to coating specificationsand QA requirements
Valid White Card
Confined Space and Working at Heights
Robust focus on safety and quality workmanship
Ability to pass site inductions and any required medicals
Ability to obtain and pass a police clearance
Valid Passport
