Ocean Breeze Resort is seeking aGrounds and Maintenance Personto join our team at our beautiful location in Noosa Heads, Queensland.
This is acasual positionthat offers flexibility whilst contributing to the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our resort grounds and facilities.
As Grounds and Maintenance Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring our resort remains an attractive and well-maintained destination for our guests, whilst supporting the smooth operation of our property and enhancing their overall experience.
Key responsibilities
Early morning starts (5am) - emptying of bins, cleaning common areas.
Carrying out routine maintenance tasks including painting, repairs and minor carpentry work as required
Operating and maintaining grounds equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
Responding promptly to maintenance requests from resort management and guests
Assisting with seasonal maintenance projects and special grounds preparations
Following health, safety and environmental procedures at all times
What we're looking for
Competency with grounds equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and blowers
Basic practical skills in repairs, painting and minor maintenance tasks




A keen eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of presentation
Ability to work independently and take initiative in completing tasks
Strong communication skills and a customer-service focused approach
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions
Current driver's licence (desirable)
A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
