Snr Estimator with Drafting background (Sheet metal Manufacturing)
Laser Wizard Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in sheet metal and drafting to join our team in St Marys, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a range of mechanical engineering projects and services. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will play an significant role in supporting the company's continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
Conducting materials and labour cost analyses to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
Collaborating with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all estimating activities.




Providing support and guidance to the wider Engineering team on pricing and costing matters.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Skills & Experience required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
Computer literacy and proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD is essential.
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes and the sheet metal industry
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal abilities.
Relevant qualifications in drafting, Engineering design, or a related field is preferred.
