MedicalJobsAustralia.com Your role at St John of God Medicare Mental Health Service Armadale We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Administration Officer to join our Medicare Mental Health Service in Armadale on a permanent part-time basis.
As an Administration Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of a welcoming, accessible, and client-focused service. You will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the team, while creating a positive first point of contact for clients, their families, and carers accessing our service. You will also support caregivers with a range of administrative tasks that enable the effective delivery of mental health services.
The Armadale Medicare Mental Health Centre provides free, easily accessible support for people aged 18 years and over. We offer a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can access mental health information, services, and support from qualified professionals, without the need for an appointment or referral. Our service is delivered by dedicated mental health professionals, with clients supported from the moment they arrive by trained peer workers who provide guidance and connection throughout their experience.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a service that helps people access the right support at the right time. The Position Provide administrative support to the Service Manager and team.
Establish and manage effective and efficient office management systems. Prioritise and coordinate work to meet designated time frames. Manage the electronic client management system (CMS) for client records and administrative information.




Assist caregivers with the collection of data for quality indicators, finance reports and service specific statistics. Support data extraction and analytics for benchmarking. Provide secretarial support to service meetings.
Ensure typing and distribution of minutes, correspondence and memos are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Arrange venues, equipment and catering for all service events. Manage an effective filing system for client records and administrative information, including manual and electronic systems.
Assist in the design and desktop production of presentations, fliers, reports and publications. You will hold strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and engage effectively with a diverse client base, caregivers, and stakeholders. Whilst providing a welcoming and supportive experience for individuals accessing the service, you will have the ability to respond with professionalism and empathy to their needs.
The successful applicant will have solid experience in reception and office administration, with an understanding of systems and processes used to manage client information, appointments, and data collection. You will demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry capabilities. In addition, you will possess sound planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands,



and work effectively in a busy service setting.
A current WA driver's licence and National Police Clearance are essential for this role. Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values. We can offer you
Salary: $74,627 to $78,011 (pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% Superannuation Permanent part time, working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday | 8.30 to *****pm
