PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
FP&A;
Support annual budget planning, quarterly forecasts, quarterly business reviews (QBR), and weekly Latest Estimate (LE) processes.
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages including sales performance, P&L; analysis, expense reviews.
Conduct price volume analysis based on actuals, plan and forecast sales data.
Partner with commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to improve forecast accuracy.
Accounting & Tax
Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities – review of accruals, Balance Sheet reconciliation, lease accounting, journal adjustments etc.
Prepare closing journal entries related to sales rebate and inventory adjustments.
Liaise and communicate with an outsourced Finance service provider relating to accounting transactions and VAT reporting.
Assist with internal audit and external audit requirements.
Systems, Process,
and Compliance
Be the local trainer and key user of ERP procurement module, Concur system and T&E; policy.
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Handle ad-hoc assignments.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Possess a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
At least 5 years of accounting and/ or Financial Planning experience (Medical device, FMCG or related multinational companies experience preferred)
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in high pressure situations to meet deadlines
Meticulous, detail oriented and proactive
Good computer literacy in using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial System and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP application) will be an advantage
