Job description
Hours: Full time (38 hours per week) early starts
Reports to: Victorian Operations Manager
Works with: Parts Manager, General Manager
Contract position: Permanent Full - Time with initial 3-month review
ABOUT THE ROLE
Delivery Fleet Maintenance (DFM) is a specialised service centre and on-site mechanical service provider offering a comprehensive range of maintenance solutions tailored specifically for delivery fleets reliant on two and three wheeled motorcycles and electric vehicles.
Operating across two states (Victoria and South Australia) DFM is the preferred supplier of the major purveyor of postal and delivery services.
Our passion lies in keeping fleets efficient, compliant and on-the-road with minimal delay times.
This hands-on role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of motorcycles and electric vehicles, from daily commuters to delivery fleet vehicles, electric vehicles including working on telematic systems and other on0board fleet technology.
You'll be working alongside a skilled and passionate team in a supportive, well-equipped workshop that values quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Motorcycle/Automotive/EV Technician to join our team in Victoria.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motorcycles and electric vehicles, including installing, troubleshooting telematics and fleet equipment in a fast-paced, friendly environment where quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform routine servicing and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles (2 and 3 wheeled) , including petrol and electric models.
· Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately
· Conduct safety inspections and roadworthy assessments
· Install accessories and parts
· Maintain accurate service records and job card
· Liaise with customers regarding repairs and service requirements
· Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
· Install and troubleshoot telematics devices, GPS units and fleet-tracking technology
KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS
· Qualified Technician preferred (training available)
· Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
· Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, telematics/fleet tracking systems
· Current Victorian motorcycle licence (preferred)
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
