Our client is a well-established surveying and geospatial consultancy providing specialist construction surveying, engineering surveying, cadastral surveying, spatial data management and geospatial solutions.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Surveyor to lead survey delivery across major civil construction and infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
About the role:
You will play a key leadership role in survey delivery across a diverse portfolio of road, subdivision, infrastructure and major civil construction projects.
Working alongside an experienced team and supported by contemporary survey technology, you'll lead survey operations, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff and have the autonomy to make technical decisions, take ownership of project outcomes and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and deliver construction set-out, control establishment and as-built surveys throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate survey activities and support project planning, client liaison and commercial outcomes.
Manage survey resources, equipment and workflows across multiple projects.
Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for survey deliverables.
Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
Mentor graduate and junior surveyors while fostering a high-performance team culture.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Degree or Diploma in Surveying,



Spatial Sciences or a related discipline.
10+ years' experience delivering civil construction or infrastructure surveying projects.
Demonstrated experience taking ownership of survey delivery on complex construction projects.
Extensive experience using modern surveying technologies including GNSS, robotic total stations, machine control and UAVs.
Ability to work independently while leading project outcomes.
Proven experience mentoring and developing junior surveyors.
Commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
