Nqpetro Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Project Manager to join our growing Western Australian team.
This is an opportunity for a driven Project Manager to take ownership of diverse projects across the fuel storage, handling and petrochemical sectors.
Working closely with our Branch Manager and operational teams, you'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the high standards our clients expect.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a diverse portfolio of petroleum commercial projects up to $5m
You'll play a key role in managing client relationships, leading project delivery from concept through to completion, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the continued growth of our WA operations.
Salary:$140,000 - $165,000 + super (commensurate with skills and experience)
What you'll be doing
Managing multiple projects from initial planning through to completion.
Project sizes vary from a quick customer turnaround to longer life cycle projects.
Preparing project scopes, schedules, budgets, cost forecasts and procurement plans.
Leading project teams including subcontractors, suppliers and internal technical staff.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
Monitoring project performance, identifying risks and implementing practical solutions.
Managing project financials including budgets, variations, forecasting and reporting.
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety, quality and compliance requirements.
Providing technical and commercial guidance throughout the project lifecycle.




Mentoring and supporting Junior Project Managers.
Working collaboratively with branch operations to ensure successful project outcomes.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and business growth.
We're looking for someone who:
Has Project Management experience within a commercial construction, engineering or industrial environment.
Ideally has experience delivering projects within the petrochemical, fuel storage and handling, petroleum, process piping or related industries.
Has a proven ability to manage multiple projects, of varying sizes simultaneously while maintaining strong commercial outcomes.
Understands contract administration, budgeting, cost control and project financial management.
Has excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Can confidently engage with clients, contractors and suppliers at all levels.
Is proactive, solutions-focused and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
Is highly organised with strong planning and time management skills.
Is proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence.
