The Skin Lab Brisbane is looking for experienced medical receptionists to join our growing dermatology, skin cancer, cosmetic medicine and laser clinic.
We are open tofull-time, part-time and casual applicantsand are focused on finding the right mix of experienced, reliable and patient-focused people for our team as we grow.
Experience in dermatology is highly regarded, although we also welcome applicants from:
General practice
Specialist medical practices
Skin cancer clinics
Cosmetic medicine or aesthetic clinics
Other busy healthcare environments
The Role
You will support patients, doctors and the wider clinical team across a busy multidisciplinary practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing appointments and patient enquiries
Coordinating referrals, recalls and follow-up bookings
Medicare billing, payments and patient accounts
Processing correspondence and medical administration
Supporting provider schedules and clinic workflows
Delivering a warm, professional and efficient patient experience
About You
You will ideally have:




At least two years of recent medical reception experience
Confidence using medical or clinic software
Experience with Medicare, referrals and patient workflows
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Clear, professional and polished communication skills
The ability to remain calm and helpful in a busy workplace
A reliable, team-focused approach
