Retail Assistant (Temporary - 3 to 4 Months)

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Showroom Assistant to join their Caringbah showroom on a temporary basis for 3-4 months, with the potential for extension.
This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment.
You will be the first point of contact for customers, supporting sales consultants and ensuring smooth day-to-day showroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive first impression
Answer incoming calls and manage a high volume of enquiries professionally
Conduct outbound follow-up calls to support sales and close opportunities
Respond to customer emails and website enquiries in a timely manner
Prepare quotes and documentation using CRM systems




Book appointments and manage consultants' schedules
Process customer payments and assist with banking tasks
Maintain accurate records and ensure all paperwork is filed correctly
Assist customers with product selections (training provided)
Ensure the showroom is well-presented and organised at all times
Support general administrative duties and stock control
About You
Strong administration experience (preferred over retail)
Confident handling high-volume calls, emails, and CRM systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and robust organisational skills
Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team
Experience working towards targets or KPIs (advantageous)
Reliable, punctual, and professional
