A leading worldwide manufacturer is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electricianto join their team at a state-of-the-art facility located in Smithfield.
This is a full time,night shiftposition runningMonday to Friday
Shift Patterns - 10pm - 6am

The Role
As an Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated electrical systems and equipment within a fast-paced, high-technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Performpreventative and breakdown maintenanceon electrical and control systems across automated equipment.




Diagnose and repair electrical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLC-controlled systems, and other plant machinery.
Assist with theinstallation, wiring, and commissioningof new equipment and system upgrades.
Conductelectrical safety testing and inspectionsin accordance with relevant standards.
Maintain accurateservice and maintenance documentation.
Work collaboratively with mechanical and automation teams to ensureequipment reliability and uptime.
Comply with allelectrical safety regulations and company quality standards.
About You
Trade qualifiedElectrical Fitter / Electrician(Cert III or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience in amanufacturing, automation, or industrial maintenanceenvironment.
Strong knowledge ofelectrical systems, control panels, and fault-finding techniques.
Commitment tosafety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
