The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Plumber or Civil Plumber with experience specific to the installation and repair of Fire Hydrant systems to join our growing team. This role requires a tradesperson who can consistently deliver high-quality work, solve problems independently, and contribute to training and mentoring apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
Working in a team of Tradespeople.
Fault finding and independent problem-solving.
Excavation, backfilling, restoration.
Underground fire pipework installation/repair.
Training and supporting apprentices
Reading and interpreting site plans and specifications.
Scoping and quoting project works and delivering minor projects.
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Ensuring WHS and compliance standards are met onsite.
Qualifications and Skills
Licensed Plumber or Journeyman.
Driver’s license (Mandatory).
Demonstrated experience in commercial plumbing environments.
Ability to manage work independently and within a team.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of technical skill across pipe materials and testing methods.
