Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Location:Campbell, ACT
Hourly Rate: $35ph + Super

Our client, a reputable aged care provider located in Campbell, ACT, is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in maintaining a protected, functional and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities
General repairs and maintenance across the facility
Preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Maintenance of grounds, gardens and outdoor areas
Monitoring and maintenance of building services and equipment
Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Coordinating and supervising contractors when required
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Maintaining maintenance records and documentation

About You
Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or property maintenance role




Solid practical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Good communication and organisational skills
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Experience within aged care, healthcare, retirement living or hospitality environments will be highly regarded

Requirements
Current Driver's Licence
National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
Full Australian working rights
Ability to complete any required pre-employment checks
