We’re a quick-growing, well-funded infrastructure startup building next-generation CI/CD compute infrastructure. We operate our own global fleet of bare-metal machines, orchestrating tens of millions of virtual machines every month for thousands of customers. We’re a small, high-caliber engineering team scaling rapidly and expanding our platform into new areas of distributed compute.
What you’ll do
Own and drive architectural direction for critical infrastructure platforms orchestrating tens of millions of VMs monthly across a global bare-metal fleet
Take ownership of production reliability, performance, and operational excellence as the company multiplies compute capacity
Partner directly with technical leadership to translate business and product strategy into long-term technical roadmaps
Design and build systems at the kernel and filesystem level (eBPF, cgroups, namespaces, low-level I/O tuning) to optimize performance at petabyte scale
Lead complex infrastructure initiatives end-to-end in ambiguous problem spaces
Mentor senior engineers and help raise the technical bar across the team
What we’re looking for
8+ years of experience in low-level systems or distributed infrastructure engineering
A track record of building and owning large-scale distributed systems at recognized, high-caliber organizations
Staff/Principal-level IC experience, having materially shaped an engineering team’s technical direction
Solid tenure history demonstrating real, delivered impact
Systems programming expertise in Go, Rust, or C/C++
Experience with virtualization technologies (Firecracker, QEMU, or Cloud Hypervisor)
Experience with distributed storage systems at scale (e.g., Ceph)
Comfort operating at the kernel/Linux-primitives level
Nice to have
Early-stage startup experience scaling infrastructure rapidly
Publications, patents, or conference talks in systems engineering
