We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician with strong mechanical aptitude to join our industrial laundry operations on a permanent night shift. This role is ideal for a hands‑on tradesperson who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and keeping production equipment running reliably overnight.

You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial laundry machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, washers , dryers , ironing lines , pneumatics, and control systems to ensure smooth overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical fault-finding and repairs on industrial equipment




Preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
Mechanical troubleshooting (bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps)
VSDs, motors, sensors, and basic PLC fault diagnosis
Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime during night shift
Ensuring all work complies with WHS and electrical safety standards
Accurate maintenance reporting and handover to day shift

About You
NSW Licensed Electrician (essential)
Strong mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
Experience with motors, VSDs, conveyors, pumps, PLC s and pneumatic systems
Ability to work independently on night shift
Logical fault-finding skills and calm approach under pressure
Previous experience in industrial laundry, manufacturing, food processing, or FMCG highly regarded
