NGW Fasteners is seeking a Store Assistant to join our team at our Edgeworth location.
This is afull-time positionthat plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining smooth retail operations.
As a Store Assistant, you will be the backbone of our store, ensuring our customers receive outstanding support whilst our products and services remain well-organised and accessible.
Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and help drive the success of our business.
What you'll be doing
Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to retail customers, answering product inquiries and assisting with purchases
Restocking shelves and displays to ensure products are well-presented and readily available
Operating the till system accurately and processing customer payments using various payment methods
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised store environment in accordance with health and safety standards
Assisting with stock management, including receiving, checking and labelling inventory
Supporting promotional activities and ensuring marketing materials are displayed appropriately
Building positive relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally and escalating issues when necessary
Performing general administrative tasks as required to support store operations

Reliability and punctuality
Basic numeracy skills and the ability to operate a till or point-of-sale system
Physical capability to lift, carry and stock items safely

Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
