Balls Paddock is a welcoming 43-place early learning centre in Woonona, providing high-quality education and care for children aged 2–5 years.

About the Role
As a valued member of our team, you will:
Provide a child safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
Plan and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Observe, document, and extend children's learning and development.
Contribute to the ongoing implementation of our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Support our Strategic Improvement Plan (SIP) and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), promoting inclusive and culturally responsive practices.
Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, child wellbeing, and professional practice.
Essential Requirements
Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent).




Certificate of Completion – Foundations of Child Protection Training.
Current Child Protection Certificate/Training with a demonstrated understanding of mandatory reporting obligations and responding appropriately to child protection concerns.
Demonstrated understanding of theNSW Child Safe Standardsand a commitment to creating and maintaining a child-safe environment.
Previous experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.
Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, National Law, and Regulations.
Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications.
Experience contributing to Quality Improvement Plans (QIP), Strategic Improvement Plans (SIP), and Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP).
Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development.
