Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
Work across ADF and DVA portfolios, supporting our Veterans and current ADF members.
You will work across local ADF bases in this hybrid role. Location may vary between the Acumen office, local defence force bases and some work from home options.
Part-Time or Full-Time options are available.
What will make you successful:
Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work
Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
Passion to help people rehabilitate
Occupational Rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded
Minimum of 12 months clinical experience working in your profession with appropriate registration
The ability to work “on base” regularly during the hours of 07:30 – 15:30
