MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
Demonstration of excellent clinical skills, judgement and patient advocacy.
Demonstration of effective teamwork within a complex and challenging clinical environment, with high capacity for time management, problem solving and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
Demonstration of interest and willingness to teach junior medical staff and participate in clinical trials and research projects.
Preparedness to move between services and geographical locations in the delivery of patient care, and participate in after-hours on-call as required.
At least three years' post graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent)
