Play a key role in shaping our performance across our (insert specific) business.
Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Queanbeyan site, you will be responsible for leading a team of drivers and managing the day-to-day transport operation.
This role ensures the secure, compliant and efficient delivery of products to customers while overseeing fleet maintenance, driver training, transport planning and operational performance.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement, maximise fleet efficiency and maintain a strong focus on safety and customer service.
What you will be doing:
Provide timely and accurate production and delivery schedules
Provide detail of scheduling commitments at site production and planning meetings
Plan and monitor delivery conditions and vehicle requirements
Maintain up to date and accurate production reports
Maintain necessary inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials
Communicate any supply related issues
Interacting with customers in planning and production work over the phone
Always demonstrating a high commitment to safety
The working hours of this role will be Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm.

What you will bring:
A background in construction, manufacturing, or supply chain is highly regarded
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Customer Service experience and ability to build relationships across all stakeholder levels
Experience with scheduling delivery sequences efficiently and safely
