Oral Health Therapist (OHT)
Join One of North Brisbane's Fastest Growing Dental Groups
At Morayfield Dental Studio, we're looking for an experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our growing team.
We're seeking someone who is passionate about preventive dentistry, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and has a genuine passion for providing exceptional care to children and families.
As part of one of North Brisbane's fastest growing dental groups, you'll join a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, continuous learning, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
With a large and continually growing patient base, you'll have the opportunity to build a rewarding clinical schedule while working alongside experienced clinicians in a modern, supportive environment.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oral Health Therapist looking to practice to the full scope of their role while continuing to develop professionally.
Your role will include:
Comprehensive oral examinations and preventive dental care
Oral health education for patients of all ages
Periodontal assessment and non-surgical periodontal therapy
Preventive treatments including fissure sealants and fluoride applications
Ongoing periodontal maintenance and supportive care
Working collaboratively with our dentists to provide comprehensive, patient-centered treatment
A significant part of this role involves caring for children, so we're looking for someone who is confident working with young patients and enjoys creating positive dental experiences that encourage healthy habits for life.
The ability to communicate well with both children and parents, while helping nervous patients feel comfortable, will be highly valued.
Modern Technology & Clinical Support
We believe excellent clinicians deserve great technology.
Our practice is fully digital and equipped with modern technology to help you provide exceptional patient care, including:
Digital intraoral scanning for whitening trays, sports mouthguards and other appliances
OPG and CBCT imaging on site
In-chair whitening completed within the practice, with experience using professional whitening systems considered highly desirable
A supportive clinical team and experienced dental assistants
If you hold additional clinical scope beyond the standard Oral Health Therapist role, this would be highly regarded.
While not essential, we would strongly prefer a clinician who is eager to utilise and continue developing these additional skills.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
We're proud of the supportive culture we've created and the opportunities available as our dental group continues to grow.
With us, you'll enjoy:
A busy and established patient base from day one
A modern, fully digital practice with excellent clinical support
Clinical autonomy within a collaborative and supportive environment
Ongoing professional development and continuing education
Genuine opportunities for career progression as our group expands
A positive workplace culture built on kindness, teamwork and excellence
The opportunity to be involved in community initiatives and local events
Giving back to our community is something we're passionate about.
You'll often find us sponsoring local junior sporting clubs, supporting community events, and providing custom sports mouthguards for local children's football teams.
We believe dentistry extends beyond the four walls of the practice.
Our Vision
We're building more than great dental practices.
Our vision is to create healthier communities both locally and globally.
Through the continued growth of our dental group, we're committed to making a meaningful impact by supporting charitable initiatives, improving access to oral healthcare, and contributing to projects that create lasting change in communities around the world.
If making a genuine difference both inside and outside the clinic is important to you, we'd love to have you join us.
About You
You are an experienced Oral Health Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
You'll have:
Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
A minimum of two years' clinical experience in Australia or New Zealand
Experience in periodontal assessment and non-surgical periodontal therapy
A patient-centered approach with outstanding communication skills
A genuine passion for preventive dentistry and confidence working with children and families
A commitment to providing ethical, high-quality clinical care
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience with in-chair whitening systems and additional clinical scope will be highly regarded
Ready to Join Our Team?
If you're looking for more than just your next role & you want to join a growing dental group where you'll be supported in providing outstanding patient care, developing your clinical skills, and be part of a team that genuinely enjoys coming to work each day, we'd love to hear from you!
