Pharmacy Assistant – Part Time – Sylvania

Southgate Pharmacy in Sylvania is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent, part time position with an immediate start.

Days & hours:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are the core days for this role, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Additional days are available if you'd like more hours, but Mon/Tue/Wed are the priority — please only apply if you're available on all three.

The role:
Assist customers with retail products and general enquiries
Replenish and maintain stock
Operate the point-of-sale system and process sales
Support the pharmacist and pharmacy team with day-to-day duties
Maintain a clean, organised and qualified work workplace
Learn all aspects of community pharmacy through on-the-job training

You must be:
Reliable, punctual and committed long-term
Professional and friendly with customers
Able to work independently and in a small team
Pharmacy or retail experience preferred; onsite training will be provided if not

Pay:

$30.66 per hour (Pharmacy Industry Award), plus superannuation and leave entitlements.
