Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing customer energy needs, designing solar and battery storage systems, and preparing detailed proposals and quotations.
The specialist will provide technical advice to customers, explain system performance and warranty terms, and support the sales process with clear, accurate information.
The role involves coordinating with installers and project managers, reviewing site assessments, and ensuring system designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.




The specialist will also monitor project progress, assist with system commissioning documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and customer experience.Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, battery storage solutions, inverters, and related components.Experience in system design, sizing, and performance modeling using relevant solar design or engineering tools.Ability to interpret electrical plans, technical specifications, and compliance requirements for Australian standards.Customer-focused communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.Experience in sales or pre-sales support within the renewable energy or electrical industry is highly beneficial.Solid organizational skills and attention to detail for managing proposals, documentation, and project follow-up.Comfort working in a hybrid environment, coordinating onsite visits with remote tasks and collaboration.Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field; CEC accreditation or equivalent is an advantage.Understanding of workplace health and safety practices in solar installation environments.Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and environmentally responsible practices.
