We're looking for an experienced Payroll Partner to join our People & Culture team.

About the role
Reporting to the GM People & Culture, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function for more than 1,000 employees across Australia.
You'll partner closely with Finance, People & Culture and operational leaders to ensure payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly and on time, while driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.
This is a true business partnering role where you'll provide expert payroll advice, champion best practice and play a key role in delivering an outstanding employee experience.
What you'll be doing
Manage the end-to-end processing of fortnightly and bi-monthly payrolls for 1,000+ employees
Process new starters, terminations, salary changes, allowances, leave, deductions and back pays
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, STP and statutory reporting requirements
Prepare payroll reconciliations, reporting and year-end activities
Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work legislation
Act as the key escalation point for payroll enquiries across the business
Maintain payroll data integrity across payroll,



HRIS and time & attendance systems
Partner with Finance, IT and People & Culture to improve payroll processes and systems
Support payroll audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Deliver payroll reporting and insights to support business decision-making.
About you
You'll be an experienced payroll professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and delivering exceptional service.
You'll also bring:
5+ years' experience processing end-to-end payroll within a medium to large organisation
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and statutory obligations
Experience interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with ADP Payroll and Etivity (or similar Time & Attendance systems) is highly regarded
Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
