Maintenance Team Leader - Adelaide

We are partnering with a well‑established not‑for‑profit organisation that delivers retirement living, residential care and community services across South Australia. With a strong focus on resident wellbeing, safety and service excellence, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to support their growing Retirement Living portfolio.

Your new role

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to oversee maintenance operations across multiple retirement living communities. In this hands‑on leadership role, you will coordinate a team of Maintenance Officers and Gardeners, ensuring homes, common areas and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You'll manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs, oversee contractors and suppliers, respond to resident requests, and help deliver safe, functional and well‑presented environments. Working closely with residents and internal stakeholders,



you'll play a key role in balancing operational maintenance requirements with exceptional customer service.

What you’ll need to succeed
Trade qualification and/or robust maintenance experience
Previous experience in facilities, property or maintenance services
Proven leadership or team coordination experience
Robust customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and contractor management
Ability to manage competing priorities and urgent maintenance requests
Strong administration and record‑keeping skills
Current Australian Driver’s Licence
NDIS Worker Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Experience within retirement living, aged care, healthcare or hospitality settings highly regarded
