About the Role
As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers, workshop technicians and parts operations.
You'll be responsible for identifying and supplying parts, processing customer orders, inventory management and helping ensure our parts department operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and supply truck parts to customers and workshop technicians
Manage inbound and outbound parts sales enquiries
Prepare customer quotes and process orders
Process invoices, payments and credits
Provide technical assistance and support to the Service Department
Maintain accurate inventory and database records
Assist with receipting, sorting, storing and dispatching stock
Participate in stocktakes and inventory control activities
Support efficient warehouse operations and workflow
Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements




Contribute to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a positive attitude, strong customer focus and a commitment to delivering quality service.
If you have strong automotive, or machinery parts experience but have not worked specifically as a Parts Interpreter, we still encourage you to apply.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar parts-related role
Experience interpreting parts within the automotive, truck, transport or machinery sectors
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good computer and administrative skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive approach and solid work ethic
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence (desirable)
Transport industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
