About the role
Reporting to the DespatchTeam Leader within our Chef Fresh function, you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of inventory, direct raw materials, and packaging items as well as finished products across the site.
About you and your skills
5+ years inventory management/warehouse related experience and 2+ years materials planning related experience.
Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/ Engineering / Supply Chain are desirable.
Exposure to 5S+1 methodology
Excellent time management and communication skills
Previous experience in short shelf-life inventory control
Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment and ensure tasks are completed within set timeframes.
Ability to work with senior stakeholders and escalat* issues whilst providing options for the resolution of issues.
Ability to work within a cold storage work setting.
Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, Word; Outlook; PowerPoint; Access; VISIO
Demonstrated high level of working knowledge and experience in achieving strong compliance to Food Safety or Quality systems (HACCP / ISO***********) is desirable.
